How does an API work?

• The customer makes a purchase of a product through an e-Commerce platform and details the delivery address as an API (which could be inside the same Bank).


• Upon arrival of the package, the System will automatically send an SMS message and an email to the client with the indication of the geographic location of the retirement API, the package’s guide number, the withdrawal deadline and a security code for the opening of the locker.


• The client arrives at the corresponding API, type in the security code that was provided and the box opens automatically.


• The client withdraws the package and when closing the door the system will generate an automatic message of withdrawal of the package that will be sent to Correos and to the client.
